New faces – Andy Rothery

Key tasks demand key management personalities – Andy Rothery joins the JATO Board as Director of Business Services to pick up a number of business responsibilities critical for the company’s future success. Rothery’s experience reads as a Who’s Who of key roles in national and international companies, most recently in Great Britain with responsibility for the renewable energy activities of the European utilities conglomerate E-ON.

Rothery takes over the role vacated after the transfer of Nasir Ali Shah to JATO (Shanghai) Consulting Company Limited (see “JATO – Focus on Asia”). In particular, he drives JATO’s activities in all areas of customer support, from management overviews through technical support to end-user training and development. Internally, Rothery’s role also takes in the critical responsibility for future product development, marshalling a team of product managers and specialists. This team has the target of defining and bringing to market both short-term enhancements to existing JATO products and services as well as future evolutions for the mainstream product family at JATO. Together with JATO’s national key account managers, the product team is working through summit meetings with a cross-section of JATO customers, from importers and leasing corporates to worldwide manufacturers, to ensure that future system requirements are gathered and can be catered for in JATO’s forthcoming developments and customer solutions.

As data and system solution refinements in the industry become more specific and more demanding, this task of requirement discovery has become even more critical in JATO’s development processes. Rothery’s management team welcomes the opportunity of one-to-one conversations to establish and confirm future requirements from JATO systems.
