David is an experienced business executive and strategist in the information and marketing services industries. He has over 25 years of experience successfully leading geographically and culturally diverse organizations.
David has repeatedly delivered growth in a rapidly transforming market by developing and deploying innovative talent, technology and product strategies. He is a well-respected thought leader and has frequently published his views in leading industry periodicals.
David has also held various board seats, providing strategic guidance and governance to businesses and industry organizations. Prior to joining JATO, David was the Managing Partner of Mission Boardwalk, a consultancy practice that provides advisory services to corporate and private equity clients in the Marketing Services space including Retail and E-commerce, AdTech, MarTech, FinTech and Information Services.
David previously served as CEO of GfK Research and a Member of the Management Board at GfK SE – the fifth largest market research business in the world. In this role, David lead the restructuring, carve out and sale of a large portion of GfK’s custom market research business.
