Vehicle Viewer continues to evolve, with Historic Vehicle Specifications now available to all customers with a Current Vehicle Specifications licence. This allows users to view vehicle specifications from the past and understand how vehicles have changed over time.
Previously available only to customers with a Specifications History licence, this access is now being granted exclusively within Vehicle Viewer. Users can access vehicles dating back to 2010, with the Compare to Previous functionality also unlocked. To search for a historic vehicle, select the calendar icon in the search bar, choose a month, and look up your model. Vehicles available for the selected month will be listed on the model page.
A Specifications History licence is still required to export these vehicles to Excel or PDF, or to access them through JaaS APIs. This new Vehicle Viewer capability will help existing customers evaluate the benefits of a Specifications History licence.
In addition, the recently launched Incentives Summaries feature will now be available to all Specifications customers. Initially introduced as a value-add for Incentives customers, these AI-generated summaries collate the OEM's latest campaign activity for each model. They can be viewed in the ‘Incentives’ tab at the top of a model page in supported markets. Incentives licence holders will continue to have access to the detailed offers for each vehicle.
