JATO customers can now configure vehicles with the launch of Build, our new configurator in Vehicle Viewer. This capability enables users to add options and customise their selections.
Build adds packs and options, showing their impact on price and vehicle specifications. Build understands option dependencies and calculates configurations correctly following set rules. The experience is similar to the OEMs’ configurators but with all brands in one place. This provides JATO customers with detailed insight into vehicles' options and pricing structures in a consistent format.
When looking at a specific vehicle in Vehicle Viewer, navigate to the Packs and Options tab and click any option name to add it to your vehicle. You'll be prompted to make selections when required. Click again on the name of the option to remove it (unBuild). The Specifications tab shows how the equipment of the version is changed. A summary of the configuration is shown in the Overview tab.
Additional features are coming soon to Build. We will add the ability to remove your options from the Overview summary and make your configurations available as permalinks for bookmarking. Following on from these key features we will also make it possible to take your built vehicle into a Comparison view.
