Graduating with Honours in Business & Economics in 1989, Giovanni took a role in the Marketing Department of FIAT Auto SPA, working on the launch of new light commercial vehicles.
Giovanni joined JATO in 1990 as our representative in the Italian market, quickly taking the Italian research propositions to the highest standards, and building deep and trusted commercial relationships with the key automotive players in Italy. In 1992 he was appointed Operations Manager and within 5 years was leading a pioneering team of Research, Training and Client Support staff, to become one of JATO’s key revenue generators.
In 2001, he was appointed General Manager for Italy and Switzerland, and subsequently expanded his remit to that of Regional General Manager – Southern Europe, growing key international relationships with, for example, Renault-NISSAN, PSA Peugeot-Citroën, FIAT Group & ALD, developing true value-add business initiatives such as JATO Incentives research and our Analysis & Reporting services.
From 2012, Giovanni was appointed Vice President Sales – Europe, and in 2014 was invited to join the Board of JATO Dynamics Limited as Director, Europe. Under Giovanni’s leadership, JATO’s European team is responsible for some of our largest global clients.
